The reputation of the original and ground-breaking Bangkok ‘restaurant with a social conscience' has spread around the world.  Cabbages and Condoms Thai cuisine is served in a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant. The impressive menu includes all the Thai classic dishes plus a range of specialties, including seafood and regional dishes. A selection of international dishes is also available. Although the cusine errs on the side of being  'farang friendly' with toned down spice, the restaurant is worth visiting as it is run by Thailand's Population and Community Development Association. The founder, former Thai senator Mechai Viravaidya, believes ‘birth control should be as cheap as vegetables'.
